Music is such a massive part of my life, not just keeping me in check with my workouts. Throughout my teenage years I’d be going to gigs up and down the country and across Europe, with friends or with people who some I now class as my closest friends. Crazy right?
I still go to gigs now but life has actually got in the way of how regularly I go. Nonetheless, my iPhone and iPod help me stay connected with old and new records.
Nowadays I keep my playlist updated for fitness. When I workout, where permitted I prefer to do so to music. It’s a form of motivation. Plus I get to sing along to my favourite tunes when they going gets tough! Also, I can focus my tempo when running based on what playlist I have playing. So I have an energetic playlist and a mellow one for stretching.
So I’ve decided to make this a weekly feature on my blog… what’s on my playlist! It’s going to be my top 10 picks from my workout playlists. Whether you want to find some new music, rekindle with some older tracks or just have a gander of what my music taste is like.. Beware it is SO varied.
